
The Secure Communities Forum (SCF) participated prominently at the 2024/2025 CEPOL Research & Science Conference held in Ostia, Rome, Italy, from March 25-27, 2025. Organized by the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Police School of the Italian Guardia di Finanza, the conference brought together leading experts, law enforcement professionals, and researchers to explore strategies for combating High-Risk Criminal Networks (HRCN).
Representing the SCF, Secretariat, Eitan Charnoff was a featured speaker on the panel, "Challenges on Combating High-Risk Criminal Networks, Including Cooperation with Neighbourhood Regions," moderated by Alexandru Caciuloiu (CEPOL) and Trond Myklebust (Norwegian Police University College).

Eitan presented SCF’s pioneering national response model specifically designed to counter extremism within online gaming communities. His talk underscored the critical importance of enhancing cross-border law enforcement collaboration, sharing intelligence, and adopting proactive measures to effectively disrupt and dismantle extremist networks operating in digital spaces.
Approximately 100 law enforcement officials, researchers, policymakers, and subject matter experts specializing in counterterrorism, cybercrime, extremism, and organized crime attended the panel.
